There are several easy ways to get to Eleuthera. Continental has direct flights through Ft Lauderdale, American has flights through Miami and Delta has limited flights into North Eleuthera from Atlanta – we do not pick up guests from North Eleuthera airport, only from Governors Harbour and Rock Sound airports. One of the easiest way to reach the Island is Lynx Air from the Ft Lauderdale Airport, terminal 4. They have flights 4 days a week into Governor Harbour (Governor Harbour is about a 35 minute drive to our home). ** As of 2010, we have found the most reasonably priced airfare is on American through Miami directly into Governor Harbour.

Jet Blue and Spirit have great fares into Nassau and then you catch a 20 minute flight on Bahamas Air into Rock Sound (which is a 10 minute drive to our home) or Governors Harbour. US Air and United co-share with Bahamas Air. If you arrive in Nassau before 2pm you can easily catch the late afternoon flight to the Island. We prefer going through Nassau on the return flight as you go through US Customs and Immigration in Nassau rather then the busy airports in the states.

We will be glad to give you help with trying to coordinate flying to the island. Please don’t hesitate to let us know where you are coming from and we can give you some suggestions as to the most affordable way to get to the island. If you go on line to Bahamas Air they co-share with US Air and United and you can usually find reasonable rates going directly through them rather then the major airlines. There are also several charter airlines out of Ft Lauderdale and Miami.

There is also Bahamas Ferries (www.bahamasferries.com) that leaves several days a week from Nassau. Although it is several miles from the airport it may be an option that you should at least look into.

Airline rates also vary according to days of the week. We are very flexible with the rental schedule, therefore a mid-week to mid-week rental period may work better, if your schedule allows.

November 16 until July 31st (not including January and May): $6900.00 per week for up to 10 people (please contact us for smaller group rates) with each additional adult $150.00 extra or $100 extra for each child under 16.

• 30% discount on two or more weeks (discount taken on the full weekly rate)- does not apply for Christmas and New Year’s weeks and discount will be taken on the lower weekly rate should that apply.

All of May, August 1st until November 15th and January 9th to the 30th: $5600.00 which includes hurricane insurance (will refund 100% of funds in the event of cancellation due to hurricane and 100% of unused days upon having to cut vacation short due to hurricane.

December 19 to January 2, 2010: No increase in weekly fee but requirement to take either December 19 to December 26 or December 26 to January 2 as one block. Additional days can be taken before December 19 or after January 2 at a 30% discount for second week.

Security Deposit: $1000.00 – federal express back to you within 10 days.

12 passenger, 2007, van (automatic) available for $80.00 per day and also a 1990 jeep (stick shift) for $200.00 a week with the rental of the van or $60.00 a day. The vehicle(s) deposit is $1000. We have both a new car seat and a toddler Turbo Booster seat for our guests that come with the rental of the vehicle(s).
